I am an orthopaedic surgeon with additional fellowship training in the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. My goal is to restore optimal function of the injured limb. I achieve this objective by utilizing the latest in operative and non-operative techniques. My practice includes trauma care, arthritis and joint replacement, sports medicine, and arthroscopic surgery of the wrist, elbow, shoulder, and knee. My extensive hand and upper extremity training allows me to treat complex disorders in this area as well. I enjoy caring for patients of all ages. My hobbies include sports, cooking, and reading about history.

“Dr. Alessandro is brilliant! He pulled me out of a deep hole with my injury, and he gave me hope. He's a good listener and doesn't dive right in to surgery. He gave me the decision on my treatment. I was treated with total respect. I can't thank him enough.”
“Everything about my experience with Excel far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Alessandro operated on my knee for a torn meniscus and I was walking without crutches three days later. He sent me to physical therapy and after my last appointment my knee feels great. I just want to thank everyone at Excel for making me feel good again. Everyone was so professional and friendly. Just a great organization. Thanks again to all of you.”
"Had meniscus surgery by Dr. Alessandro. All I can say is that he and his staff are very professional from start to finish - they were incredible. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone there, the assistants and front desk people were all great!"
